Safetitude assisted us in developing the Girls Not Brides strategy to address Child Early Forced Marriages and Unions (CEFMU) in Asia. In the strategy, we wanted to integrate approaches that are collaborative, multi-sectoral, gender-transformative and youth-centric. Drawing from her deep understanding of the sector, Komal took the team through a participatory process, asking us reflective and analytical questions to sharpen our thinking. We are happy to say that our strategy is a strong blend of the above-mentioned approaches while being context-specific, impactful and agile. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Safetitude!

I have been a witness to Komal's growth journey as a leader and founder of Safetitude and I hold special regards for her knowledge and acumen in the field of child rights. She has played a crucial role in providing technical expertise to develop a robust child safeguarding policy for Milaan. Komal is also an exceptional trainer. She led the training of trainers for the Girl Icon programme. The methodology of capacity building was insightful and tailored to our specific needs. She is thorough and detailed in her approach and in her delivery and working with her has been an incredible learning experience.

Working with Ms. Komal Ganotra and Safetitude has been an enlightening experience for Rajmeru. Their expertise in conducting SWOT analyses of our staff and comprehensive Gender Analysis, along with facilitating Gender Workshops, has been invaluable. Their work has not only strengthened Rajmeru's team but also assisted the organization in developing a comprehensive Gender Mainstreaming strategy at multiple levels, grounded in a thorough analysis of context, gender issues, and existing barriers in the current development paradigm.

We got the opportunity to work together for Project Saamya, a very unique intervention for sensitizing young boys in slums of Noida. Ms. Komal Ganotra has designed the training module for the project which was a challenging and difficult task for such young target group. We found that the module is very effective in building understanding of these boys. I would like to recommend Komal Ji for the work around children including gender.

Rupantaran Foundation, is a growing organisation working with children, youth, and women of marginalised communities, understands the importance of tailored structures and policies for growth. Often, policies in the development sector feel disconnected from an organization's context, leading to poor understanding and ownership. However, we are grateful to Safetitude, especially Komal Ganotra ji, for helping us create a child safeguarding policy tailored to our organization's unique needs and context. She also oriented our team on child safeguarding, ensuring ownership and effective implementation. Dr. Komal Ganotra has closely worked with CASA supporting us in program evaluations, training for gender mainstreaming in programs and contributing to staff development initiatives. She led the study on the impact of COVID-19 on adolescent girls and women in Rajasthan which brought critical issues to the forefront, guiding our response to better support vulnerable communities during and after the pandemic. The SWOT analysis she conducted for our team was thorough and insightful. It provided us with a clear understanding of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, equipping participants and team leaders with actionable strategies to strengthen personal and professional capacities. Dr. Ganotra’s expertise, strategic approach, and commitment to gender equity have significantly contributed to CASA’s mission, and we deeply value her partnership. We wish her all success in her future endeavors.

During my work with the Water Harvest—India Liaison Office, we commissioned two external evaluations of water and livelihood projects implemented by Water Harvest partner NGOs in Jodhpur and Alwar districts. The experience of collaborating with Dr. Komal Ganotra was profoundly enriching. Her extensive experience in rural areas, particularly with the unique challenges faced by women, coupled with her ability to communicate in local dialects and her eagerness to learn, created an environment that was both productive and forward-looking. Dr. Komal’s approach to the evaluation process was particularly impactful; she engaged with issues deeply, approaching them from the communities’ perspectives rather than adopting a prescriptive stance. I sincerely hope that Dr. Komal continues to inspire and empower many more in the years to come.
